Strong, Supported & In Sync: A Women’s Workshop for Strength, Hormones & Sustainable Fitness
3pm - 5pm, Sunday 5th July 2026, New Bodies Gym New Mills.
This empowering workshop is designed to help women feel stronger, more confident, and more connected to their bodies—both in and beyond the gym.
So often, fitness spaces focus purely on pushing harder, lifting more, and doing better… without considering what’s actually happening inside the female body. Hormones, energy levels, stress, and life stages all play a huge role in how we feel and how we train—and this doesn’t stop after menopause.
This workshop creates space for a more informed, compassionate, and effective approach to movement.
We’ll begin with an informal and engaging talk exploring:
- How hormones impact energy, strength, recovery, and motivation
- What changes during peri-menopause and post menopause (and why it matters for training)
- Why rest, recovery, and nervous system support are just as important as exercise
- How to adapt your workouts to suit your body—without losing progress or confidence
We’ll also touch on simple nutrition support for energy and recovery, in a way that feels realistic and achievable.
We will then dive into a movement session based around mobility, strength and balance using a mixture equipment and body weight to get the energy moving without burning ourselves out.
To close, we’ll share nourishing snacks and open up a relaxed space for conversation, questions, and connection—because sometimes the most powerful part is realising you’re not alone in how you feel.
You’ll leave with:
- A better understanding of your body and how to train in a way that supports it
- Practical tools to build strength and mobility safely and effectively
- Confidence to adapt your workouts around your energy and life stage
- A sense of connection and shared experience with other women
- Simple, supportive nutrition ideas to fuel your body
This workshop is suitable for all fitness levels—whether you’re new to the gym or have been training for years.
