A Circle of Women November — The Art of Letting Go

An evening of release, surrender and making space as we journey towards winter.

Season: Late Autumn · The Descent
Moon: Waxing Gibbous, approaching the Full Moon
Release · Surrender · Make Space

As autumn begins to give way to winter, nature shows us that letting go is not something to fear. The trees release their leaves, the landscape becomes quieter, and energy begins to turn inward.

This November, A Circle of Women is an invitation to do the same.

The Art of Letting Go is an evening to pause and notice what you have been carrying — physically, emotionally and mentally — and ask whether you still need to carry it with you.

Expectations. Responsibilities. Resentment. Guilt. Perfectionism. Old versions of ourselves. The pressure to keep everything going.

Sometimes we don't realise how much we're holding until we finally give ourselves permission to put some of it down.

Through gentle somatic movement, breath, meditation, journalling and seasonal ritual, we'll explore where we might be gripping, holding or pushing and create space for release.

Our journey for the evening will move through:

Hold → Feel → Release → Receive

We'll begin by coming into the body and noticing what is here, before moving through gentle practices to help us soften and release. There will be time for reflection and journalling, followed by a simple letting-go ritual as we consciously choose what we don't want to carry into winter.

And then we'll ask:

If I put this down, what becomes possible?

Because letting go isn't about becoming empty.

It's about creating space.

Space to rest.
Space to breathe.
Space to receive.
Space to hear ourselves again.

As always, you don't need any experience of yoga, meditation, somatics or women's circles. You are welcome exactly as you are.

Come and sit in circle with other women as we follow the wisdom of the season, soften our grip and make space for the quieter months ahead.
